Over Thanksgiving break, my sister, Payton and I were walking in Downtown Annapolis, and she said to me that she was so excited to go to this new store that is opening! I look over and see this adorable store called “Dear Annie“. I told her that we would go as soon as it opened!
Fast forward two weeks, and wa-la! It opened! Payton and I walked in on their second day open to one of the cutest stores in Downtown Annapolis.
Dear Annie’s clothing has a cool vibe to them, they are super stylish and affordable! While looking through the clothes, I saw that there were so many different types of styles. From preppy, to New York City Chic, and even bohemian! But, this is probably because storeowner, Annie Kang, is a very diverse woman!
Kang grew up in India and then moved to the U.S. with her family and then attended the University of Virginia. She is now living in the Annapolis area, because her soon-to-be hubby is in the Air Force and is stationed here! (We should all thank him for bringing her here because I am not kidding when I say that Dear Annie is now one of my favorite stores!) Another thing that is amazing about Dear Annie, is that the store carries sizes XS-3XL.
After college, Kang worked as a buyer for the popular jean company Levi Strauss & Co in San Fransisco. “I always wanted my own store! I started planning Dear Annie in August and by November I had everything finished…except the location,” said, Kang. Before she knew it, she found the cutest location: 65 Maryland Avenue!
Dear Annie truly has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for an everyday look or something special, you will definitely be able to find it here! The store also carries a wide variety of statement necklaces and other jewelry. Also, Kang carries adorable soaps, perfumes, and bubble bath!
If you mention this blog post to Annie when visiting her store, she will give you 10% off your first purchase! Happy Shopping!

I am so excited to see this store grow in the Annapolis community.
This boutique sounds awesome! I am in love with the fact that it has a ton of sizes because a lot of boutiques don’t take the time to offer plus size wear at affordable prices. This store looks adorable.

Amanda,
I love it too, and the clothes are affordable, where most boutiques in this area are not. I am hoping that the store owner will also do an online store so my fellow HCBNers who do not live in the area can shop online 🙂
What a cute store! I haven’t been to Annapolis in a few years but I’ll have to visit soon and go to this store!
Yes, you should! Annapolis is the best 🙂
