My Thrifty Thursday Finds!

My Thirfty Thursday Finds!

My whole outfit (minus the necklace and watch!) were all found for $19! YES, you read that correctly!

I went a little more dressy with my first Thrifty Thursday outfit just because I found these awesome pieces! My shirt, which was found while I was in Philadelphia, PA on Monday at this small, but cute consignment shop! It is so comfortable and will go with so much! Then, the gray skirt which I found at Goodwill in Crofton, MD was only $5! This skirt I promise you will be worn so often! When I was looking at it I noticed the skirt still had its original tags on it. And, it was originally $30… meaning I saved $25!!! Finally, the magical find of the shoes! They are white wedges from Target. I am a size 11 shoe, making it extremely difficult for me to find shoes (cute ones at least!) while thrifting. I was walking up to the cash register, and there they were! What a score also because they were only $10, and still had their original tags on them as well. I checked on Target’s website and they are originally $21. I wish I knew how much this shirt originally cost!

I had so much fun sifting through the clothes at the Consignment shop and at Goodwill! It will save you so much money which is a great thing for a girl like me who is a college student! I hope you all liked this post! Please comment with other ideas you might have for me to do for my upcoming Thrifty Thursday’s!

Danie

Coming Tomorrow!

I have decided to do “Thrifty Thursday”! Where I am going to go each week to my local thrift stores/Goodwill and try and find amazing outfits with only $20! I am a college student so my goal with these posts are to help other young adults see that you do not have to spend a fortune to look amazing!

Berry Picking Themed Outfit!

Berry Picking Themed Outfit!

I would just to like give my friend who is also a fellow blogger Amanda, whose blog is Brunettewithabow.com a shoutout! She helped me with this idea!

My last post was about the awesome time I had berry picking, and it helped influence this perfect summer outfit! The “berry” color is perfect for every skin tone. This outfit is also a great outfit for summer. This can be worn going to dinner with friends, a date or even just running around shopping! It is so versatile, which is what a girl needs in the summer time.
I am also loving the makeup for this look! In the summer, I love love love a bright lip color and a simple eye. In the summer I love just doing mascara and liquid eyeliner!
The pieces in this outfit are not hard to find in stores this summer. If you are on a budget, like I am, the first place I would look for the dress is Forever 21! Next, for the shoes I would most likely look in Aldo (one of my FAVORITE shoe stores!), and the necklace I would look in Charming Charlie.

Berry Picking!

Berry Picking!

This afternoon I had the pleasure of going berry picking on the cutest orchard! It was in Maryland, right on the Mason-Dixon Line. This was my first time doing this and, I loved it! I cannot wait to do it again. It was not expensive and I got to pick a lot of fruit! Today, my friend Amanda, my sister Payton and I picked sweet cherries, blueberries and strawberries! The Orchard was named Shaw’s Orchard! If you are ever interested in berry picking, and live in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area, I recommend this farm!

Also, in the fall, the farm has pick your own apples and pumpkins. And starting next summer we were told they will also have raspberries and blackberries to pick, I am too excited!
